Frederick Wu

Managing Director (China) 

Frederick graduated from the Hong Kong University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Surveying.  He joined WT right after his graduation and worked with the company until 2003. During this period he had been involved in a variety of projects including fitout works and new build.  He also gained his professional qualifications and became a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in that period.

He left WT in 2004 and joined a management contractor company, Asia Materials Limited, as a Commercial Manager and was responsible for the procurement of FF&E items for casino projects in Macau and Las Vegas.

He then moved to Henderson (Investment) China Limited, a Developer organisation, and worked in the Chairman’s office.  He was responsible for managing the project company in Guangzhou for several residential projects including a vast of consultancy management duties.  He also assisted the Chairman to liaise the local government for land acquisition.

He re-joined WT Partnership in 2006 and has been relocated to Beijing Branch office since then. He has particular strengths in project’s commercial management and client coordination.  During 2006 to 2010, he participated in business development of the region and assisted in expanding the Beijing branch office with staff increasing from 30 to 65, and establishing four site offices in Tianjin, Dalian, Zhongshan and Sanya. He was promoted to Director for the Beijing office in 2010 and is responsible for the daily operation of the branch office including management of finance and human resources.

WT appoints Frederick Wu as Managing Director (China) in 2024.
