WT has been the primary event organiser for the Lap Dog Challenge since its first run in 2016. Now in its eighth year, we are thrilled to announce that our Hong Kong office successfully completed the enduring fundraising event on 9th of December!
Alongside our clients and fellow professionals in the construction field, the group of 55 runners completed 4,141 laps in total (that’s 1,656 km!), and successfully raised over HK$2.67 million for the Lighthouse Club Hong Kong Benevolent Fund and the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.
In the 8 years that the event has been running, from 2016 to 2023, over HK$14 million has been raised for charity.
Special kudos to our remarkable runners, Kenneth Chan, CK Leung, Wilson Lim, Ringo Lui, and Mark Van Beers, as well as our WT staff who sponsored generously. Through our collective efforts, we are undoubtedly offering hope to numerous unfortunate families and making an impact on society.
