Roy Szeto
Associate Director (Hong Kong)
Roy graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University) with Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Economics) and Master of Construction Law at the University of Melbourne.
He has been a fellow member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2015 and member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors since 2004.
He commenced his professional quantity surveying services since 1995 and has been working in Hong Kong, Macau, Australia and South East Asia.
Roy’s experience spans a range of sectors including residential, office, retail, fit-out, hotel, educational institutions, museum, exhibition, event centre, and entertainment. He was based at Cotai Strip in Macau for over a total of 11 years and gained valuable experience for complex, fast-track and large-scale building infrastructure projects including City of Dreams, The Venetian, Cotai Central and The Parisian. He has held previous leading role in Macau entertainment-hotel-resort projects and successfully led a team of quantity surveyors to deliver the projects and professional services in aspects of pre-contract cost plan, estimating, tendering, contractual advice, commercial management, contract administration, change management and settlement of construction disputes and claims.
Roy joined WTP HK Office in 2024 and is also an associate member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
