PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Rong Zhai is a Western-style garden villa (a 3-story main building and a 4-story auxiliary building). The main building was constructed in 1918. It was formerly the residence of Rong Zongjing, a Chinese entrepreneur in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China era, and was later used for multiple purposes. In 2011, the building was restored by Prada, used as a showroom and office. After 6 years’renovation, it was opened to the public in 2017. The restaurant “Mi Shang” was open in 2025.
