PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
WT was engaged to provide quantity surveying services in 1997 and the project was completed in 1999. The Yau Tong Station on the Tseung Kwan O line of MTRC rail network is a four-platform station cut into the base of an existing rock slope. The project also includes cut and cover tunnels at both ends of the station to join the bored tunnels leading to other stations and the construction of ancillary buildings.
