Joe Wong
Director (Global China Team)
Joe trained in London with Langdon & Every and returned to Hong Kong and joined WT Partnership in 1985. He was promoted to Associate in 1990 and became a Director in 1993.
Joe has significant renovation expertise with successful outcomes for projects including Strand Hotel and Inya Lake Hotel at Myanmar; Bela Vista Hotel at Macau; Australian Embassy at Beijing; KCRC Hung Hom station at Hong Kong and many shopping malls in Hong Kong.
During mid 90’s, Joe had led our dedicated team to provide cost management services to various major School Improvement programmes carried out by the Architectural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government and delivered over hundred primary / secondary school projects in Hong Kong.
Joe also has extensive experience in China. He started to work in Shanghai for Shui On Plaza in 1994, and since then, he has been working in Beijing, Dalian, Qingdao, Wuxi, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Guangzhou on office, hotel, industrial, residential, embassy related works, golf course and retail projects. In addition, he established WT Partnership’s offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing and Chengdu.
Joe become the lead of Global China Team since 2017.
