Description:

WTP was engaged to provide full quantity surveying services for the renovation of wet laboratories on 4/F, Purple Zone of Academic 1 Building at The City University of Hong Kong, Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The project had a construction floor area of 1,340m² and was completed in March 2013.

Project Features:

The Works comprised the alteration and renovation works; provision of laboratory benches, cabinets and furniture; provision of laboratory sinks and emergency shower with associated plumbing and drainage works; provision of backbone system comprising the fume exhaust system with the structural steel supporting frame and upgrade of neutralization tank.

Key Issues:

The project was funded by UGC and private fund of the University.  The Contractor was responsible for carrying out renovation works for Wet Laboratories on 4/F which included works for Fume Extracting System, works for Neutralization Tank Systems and provision of laboratory benches, cabinets and furniture.
