THE HOUSE OF DANCING WATER AT CITY OF DREAMS , MACAU

The House of Dancing Water is one of the theaters provided by the City of Dreams Development in Macau for which WT provided pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.

The state-of-art theater has a capacity of 2,000 seats with a 270-degree theater-in-the-round, where a central stage in the middle has a diameter of approximately 65 feet. The theater also installed the world’s largest commercial pool with approximately 160 feet in diameter and 26 feet in depth for a maximum water storage of 3.7 million gallons, which is more than five times the volume of an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

The House of Dancing Water features approximately 239 automated fountains and 11 ten-ton elevators, making it possible to convert from an aquatic to solid floor stage.
