Appointed in 2012, WTP provided full Quantity Surveying services for works comprising extensive Additions and Alterations to an existing facility to accommodate Pacnet’s Tier 3 Pacnet Data Centre, part of the newly-lauched Pacnet Enabled Network (PEN), the first Pan Asia Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) architecture.

With a GFA of 13,940 m2, this 8-storey facility was completed in 2013 and comprises:

  • A total of 600 IT racks in 2 Data Halls with 2.4 MW of installed power and cooling capacity
  • A design to cater to 300 racks for each of the 5 Data Halls over 4 Phases
  • 3400m2 corporate office situated at storey-7 and storey-8
  • Tier III certification for Design Documents by Uptime Institute (The first Data Centre in Singapore to receive this certification )
  • Tier III design which allows maintenance to be carried on the infrastructure without affecting operations
