Thien graduated with his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in 2008.

Thien joined WT Partnership in April 2017 as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Team Leader that will be involved in all aspects of quantity surveying and cost management including cost planning, preparation of tender documents, pre-tender estimate, Bill of Quantities and all aspects of post-contract quantity surveying services for M&E System.

In January 2009 Thien joined Altus Page Kirkland Vietnam (APK) where he gave five successful years of service. He gained valuable experience in major projects such as Noi Bai Airport – Terminal T2, Crowne Plaza Nha Trang, RMIT University Academic Phase 2, where he was heavily involved in taking off quantities, building up unit rates, assessing variation orders along with other post contract services.

In March 2014 Thien joined Archetype Group as part of their senior group and led his team on successful delivery of projects such as Sanofi Pharmaceutical (HCM), Medochemie Pharmaceutical (Binh Duong), TK Royal Apartment (Cambodia), Starts Hotel (Cambodia), etc.

Thien has developed a full skillset of Cost Management as an M&E QS. From initial cost planning to final accounts Thien has matured in his approach and his experience is valuable asset in the nurturing of the junior members of our team.

He is currently enrolled as an APC candidate for RICS membership.

Thien was appointed as an Associate of the Vietnam office in February 2021.
