Mark Van Beers
Managing Director (Hong Kong & Macau)
Mark Van Beers joined the practice in 1984 as a cadet and has progressed through the Group to be appointed Managing Director for Hong Kong and Macau in July 2011. In this time he has worked in the Group’s offices in Melbourne, Newcastle and Hong Kong and from these locations has also provided services to clients in Macau, China and throughout Asia.
He is proficient in the provision of all core quantity surveying services and has specialised in providing cost planning and estimating services for complex large scale projects in conjunction with formulating procurement and contract strategies which have allowed these projects to progress from pre-contract into construction phase.
Landmark projects where he has been associated with include Como Project Melbourne, Melbourne Cricket Ground Northern Stand Redevelopment, Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal Hong Kong, Elements Retail Mall at Kowloon Station, City of Dreams Integrated Resort Macau and Wynn Resorts Macau.
