Daniel Malacchini

Managing Director (South East Asia)

Daniel Malacchini joined the Melbourne operations of WT Partnership in 1997 and relocated to Singapore in 2007. An Associate of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, he has experience in all aspects of Quantity Surveying, including Estimating, Cost Planning and Cost Control, preparation of Bills of Quantities, Contract Administration and Financial Reporting.

He has worked on a variety of Projects including full Quantity Surveying services for Changi Business Park Commercial development, Suites Refurbishment for Raffles Hotel and as Financiers’ Verifier for MBS Integrated Resort. This is in addition to his portfolio of complex waterfront development [Quay West Apartments and Mari] and building over existing railway infrastructure (Federation Square in Melbourne and West End Plaza).

Daniel is also one of our senior project team leaders responsible for corporate fitouts, completing projects in Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. His team provides full cost planning and management services on more than 1,000,000ft2 for WT Partnership’s repeat order International Clients in Singapore which includes ANZ, Barclays GRCB, Macquarie, Credit Suisse and Standard Chartered. He has had experience in a wide range of other construction projects of varying size and complexity, including new and refurbishment works for commercial, retail, industrial and residential projects.

He has been involved with several highly successful projects, including the award winning mixed use QV Development in Melbourne that incorporates BHP Billiton’s new 29 level headquarters building, Village Docklands for the Kwok Group and Melburnian Apartments.

Daniel’s technical knowledge and practical experience are complemented by his training in Construction Programming and Scheduling, bringing an extra level of service to his verification, audit, and independent certified roles.

Daniel was appointed as a Director of the Singapore office in January 2013.
