Chu Wen Kai graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2003 with a Bachelor in Construction Economics and also obtained his Masters in Facility Management in 2004. He joined WT Partnership in 2012.

Wen Kai has significant experience working with both professional Quantity Surveying and Contracting firms on a wide range of projects including commercial, corporate fitouts, institutional, residential and civil projects.

He has since gained valuable experience on both sides of the industry, developing technical expertise to be an effective and valuable team player in all types of project delivery.

Wen Kai has a meticulous approach to the importance of appropriate contracting arrangements to achieve the right price with the right contractor for the agreed risk profile.

A highly motivated professional, Wen Kai is also competent and diligent. He has extensive experience in all aspects of pre-contract and post contract services from concept to completion. His core strengths include cost planning, budget control, contract administration and negotiation and final account settlement.

Wen Kai has successfully delivered projects in several international markets in Australia, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Thus, Wen Kai has developed a ready appreciation of the different drivers that inform the underlying variance in costs for similar items in different locations. This expertise is particularly useful in developing appropriate cost planning budgets for interior and interpretive designs.

Wen Kai was appointed as Director of the Singapore office in July 2023.
