Chai joined WT Partnership in 1989 becoming a Director in 2007. In this time he has established a reputation for successfully delivering high calibre, accurate cost planning and cost management services for a wide range of developments, including high tech industrial and commercial buildings, together with corporate fit out works.

While an Associate he was the Job Captain responsible for the complex conversion of a warehouse into a data centre and high tech building at Comtech Building.

His international corporate fit out works experience includes Amex, Aviva, Barclays, Cineplex, Credit Suisse and Halliburton; a common feature to these projects being the fast track delivery of flexible but complex procurement and cost reporting structures, including expedient final account settlement, for which Chai’s expertise is highly regarded.

Chai has significant wafer fab plant experience and while the site based Project QS for the largest facility was instrumental in the successful delivery of the project within time and cost.

His high tech projects include the AMD Building (a computer chip manufacturing plant) and the Biopolis Building specially developed for life science and pharmaceutical operators). Other project involvement includes a diverse range of market coverage across retail, offices, residential and recreation clubs.

Chai is a highly competent technical professional with a market reputation for considered advice and strategic direction. His responsibilities include the management and implementation of our Quality Assurance System for all technical services delivered by WT’s Singapore office.
